After his initial years in Whitelight Films and erstwhile UTV software Communications Ltd.( now part of Walt Disney Co), Kalyan co-founded Film Farm alongwith his wife, Rupali Guha, in 1999.

A stalwart in Indian media and entertainment industry for nearly three decades, Kalyan (fondly known as Pintoo in the industry) has over 2000 hours of TV production and over 200 advertising commercial productions under his belt. His work has received multiple advertising awards, Television awards for shows and his maiden venture into regional language Marathi film in 2014 was well received both commercially and critically. He drives the vision of Film Farm and helms the day to day functioning of the company.
